Local Massage Parlor Owners Sentenced in Caddo Parish
Linan Tian and his wife Bing Bing Li have plead guilty to various charges in a Caddo court. The pair are owners and operators of several local massage parlors in Shreveport-Bossier including the Palm Asian Massage Parlor. They also own several other parlors in other states including Missouri, Arkansas and Alabama.
The pair were arrested last year in a human trafficking sting and were charged with bringing female immigrants from China, trafficking them from the East Coast and forcing them to provide services or labor under use or threat of force, fraud or coercion.
Tian plead guilty to the human trafficking charge and was sentenced to 18 months in prison. He will also have to forfeit more than $17,000, two vehicles, cell phones, computers, tablets seized during the investigation and other items law enforcement feel were used to facilitate the crime of human trafficking.
His wife Bing Bing plead guilty to the lesser charge of money laundering. She was sentenced to six months in prison with credit for time served and is free.
