Louisiana Restaurant Chain Opening in Blanchard

Blanchard Louisiana is all abuzz over a new restaurant coming to town! It will be opening in a few weeks pending a visit by the city electrical inspector.

Counter Culture is opening new location in the Hideaway shopping center directly behind Northwood High School in Blanchard.

Counter Culture has a very interesting history here in Louisiana.

In 1977, two college girls opened the first Counter Culture in Shreveport, Louisiana. Frozen yogurt and simple, fresh food was a new concept for that market. Decades later, the same idea of serving fresh yogurt treats along with a menu of healthy food is still an enjoyable alternative. With the opening of many locations and Counter Culture's loyal customers, the brand is becoming recognized throughout the South.
