In that Hazardous Weather Outlook, the National Weather Service warns that strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible later in the day tomorrow through tomorrow night across portions of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana.

With those anticipated storms, forecasters say that:

The atmosphere will support the development of large hail and damaging thunderstorm wind gusts with any severe thunderstorms late Thursday through Thursday Night. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. In addition to the severe weather threat Thursday into Thursday night, excessive heavy rainfall will be possible. The heavy rainfall threat will continue into Friday as well across mainly portions of Northern and Northeastern Louisiana.

The National Weather Service adds that the moderate to heavy rainfall will bring a potential for isolated Flash Flooding across most of the immediate area.

In the illustration below, the highlighted areas indicate either at least a 5 percent or 15 percent chance for flooding within 25 miles of a point.
