PlayStation Store’s Last Update of 2014 Brings Big Sales

Black Friday is long gone, but Sony is rolling out all sorts of big discounts to celebrate the holidays and to end 2014 with a bang.

The PlayStation Blog just announced a huge sale going on at the PlayStation Store to help celebrate the holidays. This is also going to be the PlayStation Store's last big update of 2014, so they're giving out some groovy sales to help end the year on a high note.

While Xbox has been giving all sorts of amazing Xbox One bundles and deals this season and Sony has remained rather adamant in the PlayStation 4's pricing, it's nice to see that its digital offerings attempt to make amends.

There are all sorts of discounts for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games, and even bigger discounts if you have a PlayStation Plus subscription. Some games, such as Guilty Gear Xrd Sign, are getting free content for the holidays. $30 for Alien: Isolation, $36 for Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition and $30 for Metro Redux give you a lot of bang for your buck in terms of PlayStation 4 titles.

If you're a PlayStation 3 owner who hasn't got in on Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, a price of $6.80 is a steal. Indie hits like Nidhogg, Stealth Inc and Thomas was Alone have huge discounts and you get cross buy purchases for them as well. If you're a PS Vita owner who never played The Swapper, we suggest you get it while it's just $5.49 (trust us).
