The Louisiana State Police say they arrested a man earlier this week after he breached security at the Governor's Mansion, broke a table, then either fell asleep or passed out on a couch.

The intruder, Reynard Green, was arrested and booked on charges of simple burglary, criminal trespass and criminal damage to property. He was also charged with possession of a Schedule I narcotic and two counts of battery of a police officer.

Spokespeople for the LSP would not say whether Governor John Bel Edwards or family members were in the mansion at the time.
