Strange. Over the past couple of weeks, I've had several people ask me questions like "What happened to Sevendust?", "What's Lejon (Witherspoon) doing these days?"...

And today, the answer to those questions popped up. Sevendust is still alive and well, Lejon is still the frontman, and they've been locked away in the studio recording a new album, their ninth. Look for the album, 'Black Out the Sun' on March 26th, and we should have some new Sevendust music on the radio as early as January.

What can we expect from the new Sevendust? According to Clint Lowery in Guitar World,

There's a dark turn to the whole thing...in a lot of ways, it's your typical Sevendust record.

The magazine goes on to declare that Black Out the Sun "will eclipse its predecessors with its southern-rock brutality and bursts of industrial and reggae."

You'll have a chance to hear the new music live, when Sevendust hits the road with Lacuna Coil for a short tour in February:
