Both your weight and your salary are personal information. But if you had to, which would you reveal? Shreveport-Bossier City plays 'Would You Rather!'

Let's face it, politics and religion are usually the two topics that verboten in polite company. Other topics that are frowned about talking about openly are a woman's age, a person's weight, or *gasp* money! We throw all of that out the window on a daily basis.

According to a recent survey reported by PRNewswire, both men and women would be more likely to reveal their weight as opposed to their salary. It breaks down to 80% of men choosing weight and 63% of women. I personally bucked the norm. There's no way you'd get me to reveal my weight in mixed company so I thought the results were suspect.

I decided to test my theory. If given the choice, would Shreveport-Bossier City residents reveal their weight or their salary? The results of my totally unscientific survey were pretty evenly split. In fact, one person, in particular, put it like this:

Rhonda-Dustin Hagan
Weight is not a secret. People can pretty much look at you and guess within 10-20 lbs. so not sure why people make a big deal about sharing it... it’s not a real secret Karen.
People can fake a salary and get away with it. People live outside their means all the time. Act like they have more money than they do and that’s on them. You can hide that.

You can't argue with logic like that! Check out all of the other answers below and feel free to add your comments to the mix. While you're at it, give me a follow;)

Hey;) I'm hoping you can help me with some research for a piece I'm working on... Which would you rather reveal? Your salary or your weight?
