Shreveport Man Arrested For Raping A 5-Year-Old Girl

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has put a Shreveport man behind bars for a monstrous act. 20-year-old Jaquayveon Malik McGee has been arrested for the alleged rape of a 5-year-old girl.

McGee, of the 1700 block of Kelsey Street in Shreveport, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on Tuesday, January 3, following an investigation by Det. Larry Pierce. McGee was charged with first-degree rape.

The incident occurred on December 30 at the victim’s home in north Caddo Parish. The Caddo Sheriff’s Office was notified after a family member learned of the sexual assault and took the child to a local hospital.

McGee was identified as a family friend.
