Shreveport Police Searching for Late April Murder Suspect
A warrant has been put out by Shreveport Police on a suspect in connection to a late April homicide on Roosevelt Avenue.
Reports of a shooting were received by Shreveport Police on April 28th in the 2600 block of Roosevelt. Officers were able to locate Treveaughn Grant in the roadway suffering from several gunshot wounds. Grant was pronounced dead on the scene.
Violent Crimes, CSI units, and Shreveport Detectives were called to the scene where they launched an investigation. In the following days detectives gathered enough information that helped identify 22-year-old Sa’Teriq Johnson as the one they belived pulled the trigger in the shooting. The warrant for Johnson is charging him with one count of Second Degree Homicide. Bond was set at $500,000.00.
