Shreveport True Crime Series Gets Third Season on ID

To say that Shreveport has a few stories to tell would be an epic understatement.  The city has a rich history full of incredible tales that need to be told.  Some of the most intriguing are the untold stories about the crimes committed here.  For the past 2 years, “Murder Chose Me,” on Investigation Discovery has delved into this very subject with the help of a man who is very familiar the streets of our fair city.  Former Shreveport Police Department homicide detective Rod Demery has hosted the ID show since 2017, and is set to do so for a 3rd season according to the Shreveport Times.

Demery's passion for solving crimes comes from more than his years as an experienced investigator, his mother was murdered when he was just 3 years old.  That passion for justice led him to a distinguished career in law enforcement, and now to the ID channel to relive his time investigating Shreveport's most salacious crimes.
