While the Bossier Police are attending to an incident near three of their schools, Bossier Parish Schools have moved three of their schools into "Restrictive Movement". This doesn't mean the schools are on lock-down, but they have been moved into a precautionary mode.

Here's the statement from Bossier Parish Schools Public Relations Liaison Sonja Bailes:

"Bossier City Police are currently working an incident on Waller Avenue in the vicinity of three Bossier Parish schools.
There is no immediate threat. However, as a precautionary measure, Kerr Elementary, Waller Elementary and Rusheon Middle School are on restrictive movement.
This means classes are continuing as normal, but students will not be allowed outside the school building until authorities give the all-clear.
School Resource Officers are at these three schools, as well as additional Bossier Parish Sheriff's deputies.
Again, this is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our students."
