Bank Fraud

On August 7, 2024, Williams allegedly negotiated two checks, one for $825 and the other for $780, at different Barksdale Federal Credit Union locations within hours of each other.

On September 17, 2024, Shunya Hines allegedly deposited a fraudulent cashier’s check at a local financial institution.

Criminals love them some checks. Why? Because they are way easier to manipulate and/or counterfeit than paper money.
