The Louisiana High School Football Playoffs, better known as "The Road to the Superdome" continues this week

Only two regular season games remain for area high schools and then we begin the play offs.

It's Week #8 of the Northwest Louisiana District 1 "Friday Night Lights" edition of high school football and things are really getting serious now!

Tommy Thompson (pictured above) was placed under arrest by Shreveport police after a video surfaced of the student flashing the weapon in front of his High School.

It's Week 6 and district play continues for several of our schools this week

The gridiron action should be great enough though to make up for our weather shortcomings.

With some possible rain on the way over the next few days and a forecast for slightly cooler weather, we might actually get our first taste of "football weather"
