Though U2 gifted their fans with a new album, 'Songs of Innocence,' for free earlier this year, the band has received some serious backlash from the decision.

It appears that the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl isn't the only multi-talented member of the band. During breaks in  Foo Fighters touring and recording schedules, drummer Taylor Hawkins gets together with a few of his friends (guitarist Mick Murphy and bassist Wiley Hodgden), and plays in a 70's cover band called Chevy Metal...

By now we've all heard of some of the ridiculous demands rock and pop artists insert into their contracts with concert promoters.   Over the years we've heard about Van Halen's insistence that there be "no brown M&Ms" in their dressing room; Jennifer Lopez's demand for a "white room with white flowers, white tables, white curtains, etc., etc., etc.; and Metallica's 24 page novel

We don't have long to wait for the next collection of tunz from Dave Grohl and company, so we've got that going for us. No title yet, but the new Foo is set to hit stores (and the 'net) on April 12th, and we should have a new song in our grubby little hands in about a week.
