The Best Chicken Sandwich in Shreveport Isn’t at Popeyes [OPINION]

Today was a real eye-opening day for me, and I have some news to share.

Like many of you, I too fell victim to the Popeyes chicken sandwich craze. Don't get me wrong, the craze and fandom was well-worth it, as no one can deny the deliciousness that is a Popeyes chicken sandwich. It wasn't until today that I realized the best chicken sandwich in town resides at another fast-food chain.

Today, I tried to guess chicken sandwiches while blindfolded. Spoiler alert: I got every single one of them wrong.

I'm not a huge chicken sandwich fan myself, and it was my first time eating chicken sandwiches from these four restaurants so give me a break.

On my final sandwich, I quickly let everyone know that it was easily the best chicken sandwich I had tried all day. Naturally, I confidently stated that it was the Popeyes sandwich.

You can imagine my shock when they told me I was wrong.

Believe it or not, that final chicken sandwich came from Sonic! I know, I couldn't believe it either. So yes, I can now say with confidence that the very best chicken sandwich in town is at Sonic Drive-In.
