I love Christmas!  The music, the decorations, and the movies - oh the movies!  Near the top of my list is any version of the holiday classic we all love - Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  Personally, I prefer Jim Carrey's manic portrayal of the titular holiday meanie over the original or the animated movie featuring Benedict Cumberbatch. Now, I get to add another to my list because there's a completely new way to see the characters from this amazing holiday tale on the way for Shreveport residents this weekend!

The Grinch Will Be in Shreveport This Saturday

This Saturday at 4:00 p.m., the Strand Theater will present: Grinched, A Christmas Tale in Dance.  While this show does star our favorite characters from the original, it's an entirely new adventure with the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who and Max (the Grinch's faithful canine companion).  According to the report from Bossier Now, the trio will make your heart grow 3 sizes larger as they explore "places, people and traditions that reveal the meaning of Christmas."
