The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras parade this Saturday is easily one of the (if not the) most exciting events that occur in our city.  Hundreds of thousands of revelers are expected to line the route in anticipation of the huge, moving party, and the folks inside the rolling revel-stations are taking their preparations seriously.

According to KTBS, the only superkrewe in Northwest Louisiana has collected over a million beads to throw during the parade, and has lined up more than 200,000 cups (AKA Louisiana fine china) to toss out as well!

The parade will kick off in downtown Shreveport at the corner of Clyde Fant Parkway and Lake Street at 3:30pm and end at the intersection of East Kings Highway and East Preston Street.

If you want to maximize yourself as a target for some of these beads, cups, and who knows what else - I suggest making a K945 sign!  Here's an example:
