A Caddo Parish Grand Jury has returned incitements for 2nd Degree Murder against three men in the shooting death of Shreveport Police Officer Chateri Payne.

The indictments have been brought against Treveon Anderson, Lawrence Pierre II, and Glenn FriersonThe three men arrested for her murder in January, less than a week after Officer Payne was gunned down in the street.

Officer Payne was not on duty at the time of her death, but was in her Shreveport Police uniform, preparing to start her shift.

At the time of their arrest, the Shreveport Police put out the following statement:

"Since the launch of the investigation, law enforcement officials from across the region have worked tirelessly in search of information and evidence connected to the tragic loss.  Those efforts came to fruition Tuesday evening with the arrests of  three men now charged with murder.  Trevon Anderson, 26 of the 1600 block of Midway Avenue, Lawrence Pierre, 22,  of the 4100 block of Honda Drive, and 38 year old Glenn Frierson of the 2900 block of Holly Street, each face charges of Second Degree Murder."

The three will now wait for a trial date, and each are being held on $1 million bond.
