As I was remaking my bed yesterday, I realized how much I disliked putting sheets on... which got me to thinking, what is everyone else's least liked household chore?

The easiest way to find out was an impromptu Facebook survey. And boy, were people vocal about the things they hate to do around the house! Judging from the answers from this grossly unscientific poll, folding and putting away clean laundry is the thing we avoid doing most. Eddie Horton said, 'Laundry. I'll clean anything else, let the dogs out... ANYTHING. Specifically putting up the laundry, I don't mind washing it. I'm the same way with the dishwasher. I'll load it all day long but I don't wanna put stuff up.'

Not to be outdone, Lauren Jackson Wright agreed saying, 'Folding laundry. I'll wash it all day long, but you're looking at 7-10 business days for folding and putting away.' She's not the only one to feel that way. Robert J. Wright added, 'My dining room table is really a 30 day stop off point for clothes on the way from the dryer to the bedroom.' Robert isn't the only one who lets his clean linens lay around for a while. Elissa Renee Little responded, 'Laundry. 40 minutes to wash. 1 hour to dry. 7-10 business days to put up.'

Dusting made the list several times as well! In fact, Renee Murphee said, 'Dusting, I'd rather burn the house down than dust it!'

Which household chore do you loathe to do? I'd love to hear from you in the comments section below!

Meanwhile, enjoy some fun and inventive responses from my original posting.
