I need to start by putting it out there, I am not a mother. Well, not a mother to tiny humans, I am a proud dog mom and I know that I will never understand what it's like to spend 9 months carrying a child that ends up coming out looking and acting like the father. According to several girlfriends, this is the most infuriating part.

According to these same girlfriends, the second most infuriating thing about being a mom is the misconception of Mother's Day gifts. As it turns out mom doesn't just want a box of chocolates like Forrest Gump. It's way more complicated than that. Let's start thinking about Mother's Day gifts like one of those situations where you have no idea where to go eat. We've all had an argument deciding where to go eat right? How do we avoid these arguments? We start by asking questions as to what we are craving.

After 2020, there is no more room to not come out with it and be very clear on what you want. Not just when it comes to dating, let's avoid spending hard-earned money on something that may not be appreciated as much as something else that is very much needed.

In order to compile a list of the perfect gifts for mom in Shreveport-Bossier. I need your input. I'm calling all moms to just put it out there. What do you truly want sis? You can comment below or direct message me here.
