Sleep is one of the most important things we can do for our bodies other than staying hydrated. I don't have a medical degree, but even I know that. Proper sleep affects everything from your body's brain function to mental health and even the healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. Chronic lack of sleep can lead to increased risks when it comes to heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, high blood pressure, and stroke.

So, that begged the question, what do we need as individuals to get a good night's sleep? I've seen several articles during the pandemic saying that Americans were having an even harder time than normal getting to sleep and staying asleep.

What do we need to avoid sleepless nights? I've heard over and over you need to shut down your devices an hour before bed to help calm your mind. Clearly, you need the perfect temperature as well as evidence by your answers!

Albert Houston says he relies on a fan and Nyquil. The majority of women said they need to turn the A/C down to Arctic temperatures and also need a ceiling fan and box/pedestal fan on top of that! Several, like myself, say then need their pups in the bed with them. When it comes to noise, a lot of women say they couldn't sleep without the noise of their husband's CPAP machine!

What can't you sleep without? Check out the answers below and give me a follow!
