I remember seeing a viral TikTok that said "We better not waste a date like 2-22-22". What do they mean by "waste a date"? In the past we have seen some epic wedding dates, like this past year my friend was married on 4-3-21, how cool is that? The year before that a popular wedding date was 10-10-20. So obviously, 2-22-22 is a pretty epic date.

If you have yet to set a date for your wedding or maybe you want to renew your vows you can be a part of an epic mass wedding that is sure to create Shreveport history.

What Will Make This Mass Wedding So Unique?

You will say "I do" on the only LED-lit bridge in Louisiana. Although the Texas Street bridge, was built in 1934 the bridge has been transformed into a work of public art and it's hard to miss with all the bright lights.

According to Shreveport Times, on Tuesday, February 22nd the "Bakowski Bridge of Lights" on the Texas Street Bridge will open with a mass wedding. If you tie the knot, you along with all your fellow anniversary date buddies can commemorate the moment by adopting your own light on the bridge.

So what if you want to take the big leap into marriage on 2-22-22, what is all included in the epic wedding date on the bridge? Shreveport Times claims you will get a "dressing area in the Shreveport Riverfront Convention Center, a trolley ride to the bridge, an LED bridal flower and groom boutonniere, a reception complete with wedding cupcakes, champagne toast and fireworks show designed by Broadway light designer Jason Lyons and first dance under a light show designed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker William Joyce."
