99X Wants You to See Motley Crue...Twice!

The guys in MÖTLEY CRÜE made the big announcement today that they'll be touring in 2014 and it will be their last one. We want to make sure our listeners have not one, but two chances to see band before they hang up their instruments for good.

What better way to say "MÖTLEY CRÜE - Rest in Piece(s)" than with a puzzle?

Now, you may be thinking: 'Ah, they'll come back in four or five years for a reunion tour!' Well, guess again, Sparky!

As documented in the Cessation of Touring Agreement the band signed at the press conference today, the band will not tour after this Final Tour. Band Attorney Doug Mark of Mark Music & Media Law explains:

“Other bands have split up over rancor or the inability of people to get along, but this is mutual among all four original members and a peaceful decision to move on to other endeavors and to confirm it with a binding agreement.”

Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars will go their separate ways after the lengthy two-year touring cycle. And there will NEVER be another MÖTLEY CRÜE show.

How to Win Tickets

One of the stops on the CRÜE's final march across the country will be at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City on Sunday, October 12. You can scores tickets to what will be a sold-out show by simply finding the pieces of a MÖTLEY CRÜE puzzle found on our website and putting them together.

Several times a day until tickets go on sale Friday morning, we will hide a piece of a MÖTLEY CRÜE puzzle in several posts featured on the homepage of the website. All you have to do is FIND the 12 unique pieces, PRINT the pieces and then put the puzzle together.

The first 10 people to find all 12 pieces (the last piece will be posted sometime around noon on Friday!), put the puzzle together, take a picture of themselves with it and then post it on the 99X Facebook page will score a pair of tickets to the show! (If you haven't already liked the Facebook page, you may want to go and do that right now.)

But wait (*cue infomercial guy voice*) -- there's more!

One of those lucky 10 people will also score a flyaway to see the first show of Motley Crue's final tour (July 2 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) courtesy of Live Nation, Shreveport Regional Airport and Allegiant Airlines (offering non-stop low fares to Orlando and Las Vegas).

MÖTLEY CRÜE Fan Club members will get the exclusive first crack at tickets and VIP Packages, via a unique code, beginning on Wednesday, January 29 starting at 10 a.m. local time. VIP ticket packages will be made available to the general public on Thursday, January 30 at 10 a.m. local time. The general public ticket on-sale is noon Friday, January 31.
