The problem with buying gifts for someone important in your life is that at some point, you start to run out of ideas.  This does not mean, in any way, that you don't care about them.  In fact, it may mean the opposite.  If you didn't care, you could just get a gift card or nothing at all.  After a few Christmases, it may become increasingly difficult to achieve that "wow" factor.

Don't fret!  Here are five ideas that will explosively remove socks from the feet of the geeky dad in your life!  BTW, I would totally love any of these gifts - just in case you want to let my wife know.

Every dad appreciates fire.  Doesn't matter if he smokes or not, every dad has to make fire for the grill, the campfire, or possibly to destroy evidence.  I'm not judging.

If I have to describe to you why this is cool, we'll be here all day.  It says "Ninja Prepper." It's potential volume is in milliliters - very sciencey.  There is a sword on it.  It's made of metal.  Just buy it.

This one is for the sports/beer geek in your life.  That used to be an oxymoron, but now it makes all of the sense in the world.  Fuel that passion in his life by bringing him a game inside of a game that involves his favorite game drink.  It's like an inception-level gift.  This is a winner.

This one is great for the geeky dad who loves the outdoors.  A wearable heater that fits inside your jacket!  This is the future!

Finally a knife set for the Soldier, Airman, Marine, Sailor, or military buff in your life.  Just don't be surprised when he starts quoting old Schwarzenegger movies while he's in the kitchen.  There are lots more great ideas at Dude, I want that.
