If you were at the Riverside Warehouse last December (I was!), you might have caught Hydrovibe's Heather St. Marie and Mat Dauzat perform their first Shreveport acoustic show. If you missed it, worry not! The pair will be back at the Warehouse this Friday, January 24.

If you've ever listened to the Homegrown show on 99X, you already know that while Mat and Heather now live in California, both are Louisiana natives. According to the Dauzat / St. Marie Facebook page, before they had a full band the two performed often as an acoustic duo here in the Bayou State.

"As we've continued to forge ahead in this crazy world of rock, we began re-visiting our roots as an acoustic duo in early 2012," their page says. "Despite our busy schedules, we've managed to write enough material for an EP and entered the studio in November. Music coming soon."

In case you were curious, Mat's last name is pronounced /DOE-zahht/, and Heather adds some extra emphasis on the "Saint" in St. Marie. (Think she might be a Saints fan?)

Joining them on the special acoustic show are Natchitoches rockers Breaktime for Francis and Bossier City punk/pop band No Refunds.

If you're thinking acoustic shows are lame, you should definitely head out and let these bands prove you wrong!

Doors open at 8:30 p.m. for Friday night's show.  While you're waiting for the stripped-down version of the band, enjoy some Hydrovibe full-band videos here:
