One of the guys considered to be a possible frontrunner for the starting quarterback job at LSU is out.

In fact, two of the four scholarship QBs on the roster did not show up for practice on Tuesday. The noticeable absence of junior Justin McMillan and redshirt freshman Lowell Narcisse is a big topic of conversation among all LSU fans.

The biggest news is that Narcisse has announced he’s transferring to another school. He has not said what school he will be going to just yet.

Some insiders report Narcisse was taking fourth-string reps behind Joe Burrow, Justin McMillan and Myles Brennan. The 3-star recruit from St. James High School originally committed to Auburn, but later decommitted after tearing his ACL.

Narcisse missed his junior and senior seasons in high school with knee injuries and spent much of the 2017 getting back to full strength.

Like Narcisse, McMillan is also thinking about leaving Baton Rouge. He would be eligible right away since he has already finished school and still has eligibility left.

Some of the schools expected to take a look at Narcisse are North Carolina, Mempis, and Tulane.
