The 5 Best Places To Get Punched In Shreveport/Bossier
Fights seem to just be a part of life these days. Maybe they've always been a part of life, but we didn't have cameras in our pockets 24 hours a day back then, so we weren't exposed to all of the fighting.
But just out of curiosity, what would the odds be of you getting punched in the face? Maybe randomly, maybe because you were "asking for it", either way, here's what we came up with for the Shreveport and Bossier area:
Byrd High School Football Game
Don't break off that angry e-mail just yet...let's look at the facts. There hasn't been just one, but TWO high profile fights at Byrd football games this year alone.
Odds of Getting Punched: 1/2,000
The DMV on Normandie Dr in Shreveport
In all honesty, this could be ANY location for the DMV...or OMV as they'd like to be called in Louisiana, like they're pretending to be something they're not. WE ALL KNOW WHAT YOU ARE, STOPPING LYING TO YOURSELF. The DMV, or OMV, is always the last place on Earth you'd like to be, which is how EVERYONE else there feels too, which is why employees and the public are always 2 seconds away from throwing fists.
Odds of Getting Punched: 1/300
A Craigslist Meetup In The Mall Parking Lot
Craigslist can be a wonderful tool that helps people find housing, sell stuff to make extra cash, and to find someone to do that special massage you like (while whistling the theme to The Simpsons)...but it can also be a dangerous place.
People lose money to scammers, get in hostile message board arguments (yup, those still happen), and sometimes even get into physical violence. Morale of the story, like all of the internet, be careful on Craigslist.
Odds of Getting Punched: 1/75
You might call this one "unfair", but I really don't care.
If you truly want to be punched in the face, you should do it where rules exist. Like Elite Combat on Kingston Rd in Shreveport. Elite Combat is one of the best places to learn how to fight in Shreveport, because you'll be taught by professional fighters.
Yes, you will get punched in the face, but you'll learn how to take it.
Odds of Getting Punched: 2/1
Black Friday at Wal-Mart
Black Friday is almost here. Which means it's probably time to go to Elite Combat, because you're going to need to know how to brawl.
Not every Black Friday event devolves into primitive melees, but if you're not at the ones that do, you're not going to get the good deals. Seriously, who hasn't thought about curb-stomping someone over a $7 griddle at Wal-Mart hours after claiming to be "thankful" at a family dinner?
Growing up, I thought Thanksgiving dinners were about family and togetherness, but as I got older, I realized these meals were being prepared for protein boosts and carb-loading for the marathon ass kickings women were preparing for once the clock struck midnight. They weren't taking naps because of "tryptophan" in turkey...they were getting their battle rest on so they could unleash Stone Cold Steve Austin sized cans of whoop ass over $90 off-brand TVs.
Odds of Getting Punched: 50/1
