A Trump Veto Could Prevent Public From Learning Truth About UFOs
If you're a fan of the paranormal and extraterrestrial investigations, 2020 has been a banner year for you. There's been major scientific break throughs when it comes to aliens, UFOs, the Loch Ness Monster...the list is endless. Plus, with the National Defense Authorization Act (this is an annual act that sets funding for the military, policies, etc.) the Pentagon would publicly report the findings of the newly established Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force. However, the act that would make all this data and information available to the public is in real jeopardy.
According to NBC News and Popular Mechanics, President Donald Trump is threatening to veto the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act. Now, to be clear, Trump is not threatening to veto to its passage over UFOs. He's threatening to veto the 2021 version of NDAA over a bipartisan amendment that calls for the renaming of military bases named for Confederate soldiers.
So, while Trump is not actively out to suppress information related to extraterrestrial life and UFOs, if he does in fact veto NDAA he will inadvertently prevent information on the subject to reach the public. The government has been researching UFOs and alien life for decades, most of it being done privately and out of the public eye. In the early 2000s, there was an official program to study Unidentified flying objects, but the project was defunded and shuttered by the mid-2000s (although insiders claim the project was going on before the official program was announced and continued well after it was closed.) Plus, due to a few lawsuits, the NSA was forced to de-classify certain government documents which can be found here.
Legally speaking, The National Defense Authorization Act must be passed and signed by the time Congress adjourns on January 3rd. So, even if President Trump vetos it, an amended version still could feasibly pass and be enacted by Jan 3. But, if things don't get the official seal of approval by then, there's no telling if or when the general public could get official word on UFOs and aliens from the government. The truth isn't just out there, it's at our finger tips. But, we may never get to see it.
