The Sandbar is a bar I heard about long before I made the move to the SBC. A place where I can play Beer Pong and relive my college days? I am so in. Unfortunately, Sandbar like every other bar in Louisiana isn't a place many of us can enjoy. The Governor's executive order has called for all bars to remain closed and our vodka Redbull hearts are breaking.

What happens to these bars that we all love? How do our favorite bartenders pay their bills? How can some of our most loveable bar owners pay rent? One bar owner in Shreveport took the whole "Adapt and overcome" thing literally. Tim Huck has made his bar a restaurant. Huck is no stranger to perfect timing. Remember when Tim Huck and Grayson Bailey stepped in and purchased Notini's Italian Restaurant so one of our favorite restaurants wouldn't go away? Huck has an eye for opportunity and making this big change in his business model has us all like "whoa genius!".

Instead of Tim Huck joining hundreds of bar owners throughout Louisiana in the huge debate of why he can't open the doors to his beloved bar, he made some big changes. Ladies and gents, The Sand Bar Pizza Pub is now open! The pizza pub is a full-service restaurant. The bar transferred its permit to become a restaurant and upgraded their kitchen. They still have a full bar and are open from 6:30 pm to 6:00 am. Huck explains that they plan to open for lunch as early as next week.

Curious as to what the Sand Bar Pizza Pub has to offer? Check out the full menu below.
