The Ark-La-Tex has a rich history when it comes to bars and nightclubs.

As our state inches closer to a full-on re-opening, we may be closer than we think to seeing nightclubs in our area reopen.

In separate resolutions today, both Caddo and Bossier Parishes are allowing bars to increase their capacity to 50% occupancy.

As you have no doubt seen/heard this week, Louisianans are NOT happy about John Bel Edward's extreme stance against Louisiana bars.

The governor has doubled-down in his war against bars in our state this week, with more restrictions that will lead many businesses to make incredibly difficult decisions.

The good news is that Governor John Bel Edwards has altered Phase Three's guidelines in regards to alcohol sales. The bad news is that it's almost a slap in the face to the industry.

As expected, business owners and residents are NOT happy about the new rules.

Ladies and gents, The Sand Bar Pizza Pub is now open! The pizza pub is a full-service restaurant. The bar transferred its permit to become a restaurant and upgraded their kitchen.
