Shreveport Man Locked Up on Pornography Charges
A Shreveport man is arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing hundreds of pornographic images and videos involving juveniles and pornographic images involving animals.
This investigation began in November of last year. Caddo Parish Sheriff's Detective Thomas Lites arrested 48-year-old Wayne Parks of Shreveport this week on a charge of distributing child pornography. Agents then got a search warrant and removed several pieces of equipment from Parks' home. After a review of those devices, agents allegedly found more than 800 images and videos depicting child sexual abuse of very young children and pornographic photos involving animals.
Parks now faces more than 700 counts of possession of pornography involving children and more than 80 counts of possession of sexual abuse of an animal. He was locked up at the Caddo Correctional Center and at this point, there is no bond.
This investigation is continuing and more charges could be added once agents wrap up their work.
