Cypress Baptist Needs Volunteers For Special Prom Night
As if we needed another reason to love Tim Tebow, we learn that his Tim Tebow Foundation is once again putting on a national night out for people with special needs who are fourteen years of age and older.
Again this year, Cypress Baptist Church in Benton is joining hundreds of other churches around the country on the same night to host Night To Shine 2023 on February 10, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
According to timtebowfoundation.org,
Night to Shine is a complimentary event for people with special needs hosted by local churches around the world. The event is open to anyone living with disabilities, ages 14 and older. Although each event is a little bit different, some activities included are a red carpet entrance, limousine rides, dancing, karaoke, gifts, a catered dinner, a Respite Room for parents and caregivers, a crowning ceremony where every honored guest will receive a crown or tiara, and more – Night to Shine is a celebration of God’s love for YOU, our Kings and Queens!
To assure the success of this amazing event, Cypress Baptist Church needs volunteers; lots of volunteers.
There are so many ways to help — makeup, shoe shine, parking, setting up and tearing down. They especially need "Buddies." Buddies must be adults or teens in high school and serve as partners for the honored guests.
Young people in the 6th through 8th grade can serve as Red Carpet Paparazzi!
There are so many ways to help and know that you're working for an incredible cause. Just go HERE see more and to register as a volunteer.
