Saturday night was a historic and ground breaking evening for WWE and NXT. For the first time ever in WWE, there was a War Games match up. There was also a new champion crowned in NXT. After spending a lot of time floundering, Andrade Cien Almas took down Drew McIntyre to claim the NXT Championship.

It was a hell of a match that really show cased what Almas was capable of. Him and McIntyre worked well together and put on one heck of a show. However, it wasn't all good news. At some point during the match, Drew McIntyre suffered a significant injury.

While no official announcement has been made, Triple H speculated in a post Takeover interview that he believes McIntyre either ruptured or tore his bicep during the brutal encounter. If that ends up being the case, McIntyre could miss close to 6 months of action.

However, McIntyre's injury may be a blessing in disguise. It's already being speculated that Drew will make his way to either Raw or Smackdown when he does get cleared for action.
