There is a lot of speculation about the future of 3 time Ring of Honor Wold Champion Adam Cole. Cole's contract ran out in January and he signed a 3 month extension while he made some decisions about his future. Well, it would seem that some of those WWE rumors may have some steam.

Friday night at ROH's 15th Anniversary PPV, Cole dropped the World Title to Ring of Honor mainstay Christopher Daniels. In case you missed the match, Cole lost when Bullet Club member Frankie Kazarian came out and turned on Cole to support his long time friend.

The very next night in Las Vegas, Cole called out the Young Bucks for losing their tag titles. The Bucks fired back that there is only one leader of the Bullet Club, Kenny Omega. Then ROH teased an appearance of Omega at Supercard of Honor WrestleMania weekend, days before Cole's current contract runs out.

For those unfamiliar with the history of the Bullet Club, when someone is getting ready to leave to head to WWE, a 'new' leader is crowned and the old one gets wrecked by the current members. For a while, it has been assumed that Cole was the leader of the Bullet Club but with recent developments, that doesn't seem to be the case. There has always been tension between Cole and Omega but...could this all be one giant swerve from ROH? Is this to set up an Adam Cole face run? Or is this to set up the end for Adam Cole before he heads to WWE?

I guess time will tell. But, with the possibility of both AC and the Hardys wrapping up their ROH run Wrestlemania weekend, a rather lackluster WrestleMania could end up being EXPLOSIVE!
