Rejoice LSU Fans! Tiger Stadium Lifts COVID-19 Protocols
Rejoice Ark-La-Tex! The good news that we have been eagerly waiting for is finally here. LSU announced that they will be lifting the COVID-19 entrance protocols.
Don't think all rules are out the window now, masks are still required.
The release from LSUsports.net said, "In accordance with state and campus guidelines, all guests will still be required to wear masks in the indoor areas of the stadium."
Why did LSU decide to left the COVID-19 entrance protocols?
The press release claimed that the state of Louisiana has seen a significant decline in COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations. They also said that the Baton Rouge area is seeing a decline in COVID-19 cases.
When will the lifting of COVID-19 protocols take place?
Just in time for the LSU Tigers game on October 16th against Florida. Here is what the press release from LSU said "Beginning Oct. 16, guests will no longer be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test upon entrance to Tiger Stadium. Gameday testing, fast pass preverification, and all other entrance-related procedures will no longer be in place, and masks will no longer be required in outdoor locations of the stadium for guests under 12 years of age."
Have you been avoiding going to Tiger Stadium because of the COVID-19 protocols that were put in place?
I have seen several of my friends sell off their season tickets because they were upset over the COVID-19 entrance protocols. I wondered if they would have to do this all season long. Luckily this is the good news we needed today.
