I honestly hate it when North Louisiana is portrayed negatively to the entire world, but once again we've found ourselves near the top of one of those negative lists.

The saddest part of this one is that being listed is totally avoidable if it weren't for the self-inflicted wounds.

If there is any truth in the recent rankings from LawnStarter, the City of Shreveport could use a good cleaning.

LawnStarter, a website dedicated to lawn care, landscaping and things of this nature, just released their rankings of the 2023’s Dirtiest Cities in America and the City of Shreveport was listed as the 11th dirtiest city in the whole country.

In a press release from Lawnstarter, we learn that using four categories including pollution, living conditions, infrastructure and consumer satisfaction, LawnStarter compared over 150 of the biggest cities in the United States.

And once the dust had settled only ten American cities were ranked as dirtier than Shreveport.  Houston, Texas was considered the dirtiest followed by Newark, New Jersey and San Bernadino, California.

An even tougher pill to swallow is that Shreveport was ranked even dirtier than New Orleans which finished as 54th dirtiest city in America.
