Taco Bell is Removing Some Long-Time Favorites From the Menu
So, at least this isn't a story about Taco Bell shutting down, going bankrupt, or in some other fashion jeopardizing our 2 am taco hook-up - but it's not great news either. According to ComicBook.com, your run for the border will have fewer options in less than a month.
The news leaked from a pair of trusted (but unnamed) industry insiders that Taco Bell is planning on removing 7 very popular items in one of the biggest menu shakeups in recent history. I'm not talking about the whole hokey-pokey thing they keep doing with their Nacho Fries - I'm talking about the permanent removal of some all-time classics!
On the chopping block for the August the 13th change is: Quesaritos, Loaded Grillers,Triple Layer Nachos, Beefy Frito Burritos, Spicy Tostada, 7-Layer Burritos, and the venerable and trusted Nacho Supreme. There is a chance, however, that you will be able to order some of these items after the 13th. The same industry insiders that provided this information claim that Taco Bell headquarters will still ship the pre-packaged ingredients necessary for their assembly until the supply is exhausted.
Just to be clear, the above mentioned dishes won't be on the menu - you'll have to order them from memory. Since your late-night memory might be a little "fuzzy," you might want to write them down now.
