Shreveport's premier wine event, CORK XVII, is back with even more vino and foods to sample than ever this Saturday, April 1st, 2023!

The fun and crawfish eating at Mudbug Madness was briefly disrupted Sunday (5/30/21) when a fight broke out between what appears to be 3 patrons.

As the temperatures rise, I can't help but want to spend more time outside. It also gets me thinking about what I'm eating too because *gasp* we'll be showing a little more skin soon to help us stay cool in this Louisiana heat!

One of downtown Shreveport's premier festivals has been cancelled for 2020.

I picked an odd year to start doing things in Shreveport that I'd never done before. I guess being locked out of my favorite restaurants and bars is something I never thought I'd have to do. But over the weekend I got to finally get out and head to Shreveport's Farmer's Market at Festival Plaza.

If you can, plan multiple outings to the Revel. The musical acts are always changing, and there's way more food than you can possibly fit in your gullet in one night!

Traditionally in the U.S., Memorial Day is the official beginning of summer.  But in the SBC summer starts on Thursday when Mudbug Madness kicks off at Festival Plaza in Shreveport. What started as a small event attended by about 200 people, has grown into one of the Top 20 events in the Southeast according to the Southeast Tourism Society...

And here...we...go. This September Grammy Award Winning, record-setting, monsters of rock HALESTORM will be hitting Festival Plaza downtown Shreveport! Joining Halestorm will be Otherwise! The countdown is on to the 99X-Redd's Apple Ale Festapalooza, presented by Bossier City Harley-Davidson! The first major outdoor rock festival in the SBC in over 15 years goes down Saturday, September 14th at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport, with seven great bands scheduled to play for an all-ages audience...
