Texas-based Firefly Aerospace celebrates a successful private moon landing, paving the path for future commercial missions to the moon.

Texas based, Firefly Aerospace, successfully landed their space craft, Blue Ghost, on the moon Sunday, March 3rd, 2025. Firefly Aerospace is an innovative company that has had some issues in the past, but this marks a moment of great achievement for both it and NASA.

Last week Louisiana was treated to the Northern Lights in the nighttime sky. This week you can see a comet. It might not be seen again for another 80,000 years.
