Friday night (July 4th) marked the last show of Black Sabbath's "13" tour, and possibly, as some are saying, their last tour ever. Last week, The Black Keys announced their 2014 'Turn Blue' Tour dates. Kicking off on Sept. 5 in the band’s home state of Ohio, the current tour routing keeps the rock duo out on the road throughout fall and into winter before wrapping up on Dec. 21 in Kansas City, Mo.

The 2014 edition of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival kicked off Friday night (4/11) in Indio, California, and The Cult (one of my all-time favorite bands...) was there to get the party started. On Friday, Jack White revealed that he will be launching a world tour in support of his forthcoming album, Lazaretto (in stores June 10). One of those dates - June 2 - will be at The Municipal Auditorium here in Shreveport.
