The Stay-At-Home orders are finally easing up, and folks are itching for a cool idea for a night out. And while it has been nice sitting in restaurants again, most of us are already thinking "What's dinner without a movie?".

Well, it looks like Nostalgia Nights in Downtown Shreveport has us covered with the New Normal Drive-In. This event will cover an entire weekend of drive-in nostalgia fun. Going on Friday, May 29th through Sunday, May 31st, each night will cover a double-feature of amazing films.

Friday, May 29th starts the event with Wall-E at 6 pm. And the later showing of Beverly Hills Cop at 9:30. Starting off  Saturday, May 30 with Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban at 6 pm. The night wraps up at 9:30 with Jaws. Sunday, May 31 they kick start with a classic The Goonies at 6pm. Wrapping up the weekend with the hilarious Caddy Shack at 9:30.

Tickets are available HERE and there are only 100 tickets available per showing. Tickets will not be available at the event, so be sure and order yours as soon as possible as this is a don't-miss event. After all the missed live shows and theater premiers, this event will satisfy both of those post Stay-At-Home order cravings.

The New Normal Drive-In will be located at Texas Avenue and Milam Street, behind the First United Methodist Church. There will be cones and Shreveport Police officers helping with traffic entry.

Food will also be available from some amazing Downtown Shreveport restaurants. This will be a great way to get money rolling back in to our amazing restaurants Downtown that took a hard hit during this pandemic. Check out the delicious options available HERE.

Another fun activity that will be happening during this amazing drive-in experience, is that folks will be encouraged to dress-up as characters from the movies you're seeing.

"Selfies tagged with #beafanofSB will pop onto the giant LED screen during intermission and a selfie winner will be given a Family Membership to Sci-Port Discovery Center"

Did I not mention the crazy-cool LED screen? The films will be thrown on to a gigantic LED screen, giving you a top-notch picture even before it gets dark outside. It's for sure lining up to be an amazing event for Shreveport.
