The movie "It" based on Stephen King's novel is sure to be a hit at the theaters. "It" is about a creepy clown that has a history of violence and murder in a sleepy little town. Pennywise the clown ties a balloon to sewer grates to signify that he is about murder a child which is his favorite activity. Pranksters in a small Pennsylvania town took it upon themselves to promote the movie. The pranksters tied a red balloon to sewer grates.

Police officers had to take the balloons down, and they took to Facebook shortly after saying "A certain movie is coming to theaters in two days, and a local prankster took it upon themselves to promote the movie...............we give points for creativity, however we want the local prankster to know that we were completely terrified as we removed these balloons from the grates and we respectfully request they do not do that again. If you're not sure what we're talking about, search "It" and watch the preview, but we suggest watching the preview with a friend or coworker with all the lights on and the sound down low"

If a prankster were to try and pull the same stunt in the South it wouldn't go as planned. In the South, we carry. You can call them balloon blasters, or a boom booms. Point is, if you want to be here same time tomorrow, don't go tying red balloons around town and trying to sneak up on people. We don't play here in the South. #BlessYourHeart
