Hurrican Katia is currently in the Atlantic and shouldn't hit the States until next Wednesday but for now, there is a strong tropical system in the Gulf that poses a threat to the south. They don't really know where it's gonna hit so the entire Gulf of Mexico has to be on alert but if it does hit Texas, Louisiana, or Mississippi, we may get some rain here in Shreveport. It's a nice thought but it probably won't happen. Oh well, one can dream.
