New Music From Van Halen Coming Next Week?

Ok, First...this information comes from a friend of a friend of a friend close to the Van Halen camp, so take this with a 5 pound grain of salt - Van Halen will be releasing a new single next week. And SUPPOSEDLY, this new single will be called 'Late Term'. Of course, the Van Halen PR machine went into action as soon as this info hit the streets, screaming "Not true! Not true! This rumor is absolutely FALSE!'

But then again, this is what they said almost a year ago when this same 'friend of a friend of a friend close to the band' told me Van Halen was going into the studio with David Lee Roth to record their first album with him in 27 years. Now we know that Van Halen IS in the studio recording - with Dave - an, as of yet, untitled album, scheduled to be released late this year/early next year.  So, who do you believe? This "friend of a friend...", or the PR hacks?

I guess we'll find out next week. Until then suck down some vintage Van Halen...
