One Of Shreveport’s Favorite Pizza Stops is Closing Temporarily
Everyone knows that one of the best slices of pizza you can score in Shreveport-Bossier is at Frank's Pizza Napoletana. I am a huge fan of the Big Hurt which has all the meat and a touch of spice. It's safe to say it's my favorite pizza. I am a sucker for all the deliciousness in one bite.
I love the staff at Frank's I dropped by for dinner with a friend on Saturday night and was told by the bartender that they were out of certain things because they would be closed for a week.
I was worried for a second was it a COVID-19 outbreak? What would convince a busy restaurant to shut down operations for an entire week?
Turns out the owners of Frank's have been eager to get some renovations done and they realize they will have to act fast and face themselves a week to make it happen.
From what some employees told me the owners also chose to give all their hardworking employees some form of paid vacation for the week. I spoke to some servers who were excited for an entire week off. I imagine most of them worked straight through COVID-19.
The good news is we have a re-open date and now we all patiently wait until Monday, September 13th.
