Whether you're a wrestling fan or not, everyone knows who Ric Flair is. To wrestling fans, Flair is arguably the greatest wrestler to have ever lived. In pop culture, especially to the rap community, Flair is the epitome of wealth and the 'Playboy' lifestyle. If you really think about it, the Nature Boy is one of the most recognizable athletes to have ever lived regardless of the sport.

So whether you are fascinated with Ric Flair the wrestler or Ric Flair the man, director Rory Karpf (director of 'Everyone Hates Christian Laettner') takes an in-depth look at the success and heartbreak of the Nature Boy.

In the documentary, fellow wrestling legend Shawn Michaels kind of perfectly summed up who Ric Flair is. "Ric doesn’t love Richard Fliehr. I don’t know that he’s ever taken the time to get to know him, or to find out who in the world he is. He only knows who he is through the image and gimmick of Ric Flair,” said Michaels.

Which really is the heart of the story and the heart of what makes Flair so fascinating. He's one of the few men in the world of wrestling, acting or any other character based art that truly lived the part of his character and tried to make that work in real life. Most people try to work their real life into their character.

It's certainly going to be an amazing 90 minute documentary. As a fan of Flair's in ring work, I can't wait to take a closer look at what made Flair so good. As a fan of Flair the man, I'm really fascinated to see what turned Richard Fliehr into Ric Flair.
