
So I Bought The New Primus Vinyl Today
Primus and the Chocolate Factory has been on my radar for a little while now. I always planned to add it to my vinyl collection, but that plan got shifted into overdrive when we announced that they'll be in Shreveport on May 3rd.
Today I ventured over to my local record store (Day Old Blues Records) to score a copy. I was not disappointed. I'm now the proud owner of a 'chocolate brown' copy of the LP.

If you are learning about this album for the first time, here's the basics...it's a Primus-twist on the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory soundtrack from 1971. It's twisted, crazy, and super smooth. Les Claypool is god, and this is proof. Check out these cuts:
