Bossier Parish Prepares for Check Points
If you plan to jump in your vehicle this weekend do yourself a favor, don't drink and drive. Make sure your seat belt is on and everyone in your vehicle has a seat belt on too. Remember if you drink Friday night, pull a "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" and phone a friend. Louisiana State Police isn't messing around, and they plan to prove it on Friday. According to Glenn Younger "In an effort to combat impaired driving in our area, Louisiana State Police Troop G plans to participate in a multi-agency sobriety / seat belt checkpoint on Friday, June 1, 2018, from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in Bossier Parish. Our mission will be to find and remove impaired drivers from the road before they can cause injury or death to themselves or others. Additionally, we will be checking vehicles for unrestrained motorists in an effort to reduce the number of traffic related fatalities caused by not wearing a seat belt."
Remember click it, don't drink and drive, and don't eat chicken nuggets and drive. You'll spill nuggets all over your floorboard.
