For a while, it seemed that the NXT roster was on the down slide. A lot of their big name talent (Nakamura, Finna Balor, Samoa Joe, etc.) got called up to the Main Roster. But, currently, the roster is pretty stacked. Guys like Chris Hero, Roddy Strong, Aleister Black Hideo Itami and others are struggling to get TV time due to the roster being complete insane at the moment.

Well, the WWE sees this and has their eyes on moving one big name player up to the main roster. According to Dave Meltzer and several other inside sources, the Glorious One Bobby Roode could be making his main roster debut sometime in the very near future.

According to reports, Vince McMahon and other WWE officials are very high on Roode and feel that with the stacked NXT roster, he would be better served working on either Raw or Smackdown. It is said that Roode will be on one of the main shows by the end of the year. Maybe as soon as SummerSlam or the Raw/Smackdown after.
