Travelling Vietnam Memorial Makes Stop in Shreveport
An incredible memorial dedicated to the proud members of the military who never made it home from the Vietnam conflict has arrived in Shreveport. Workers spent a great deal of time unpacking and assembling the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall. The awe-inspiring and solemn reminder of the more than 58,000 men and women that sacrificed their lives on the other side of the world will be on display at Riverpark Church until Monday.
This memorial is a mobile version of the full-size and permanent Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., but is no less moving. The six foot tall, 300-foot reminder of the ultimate sacrifice and dedication of our fighting forces is sure to remind you of how precious our freedom is, and the high price paid to keep it.
This emotional mobile tribute is in town for the highly anticipated annual Veterans for Veterans Car and Bike Show set for Saturday.
